Chthonian: Onibi Bomb
Name: Onibi Bomb
Alternate Name: Fox Pot
Description: Onibi Bomb are mostly immobile stone statues in the shape of a sphere with a fox head and tail. The tail has a flame that is constantly burning at the end. They have an opening at the end of their snout that houses a long tongue. This tongue is the only organic part of their bodies and what it is connected to if any is currently unknown.
Behavior: Onibi Bombs remain mostly still acting more like light sources than living beings. They will eat anything that can burn in a fire. These are commonly fallen leaves, but they have shown interest in various oils. Though it is a struggle for them Onibi Bombs are capable of limited movement. This is done by them spreading oil on themselves or the ground in front of them. They will then use their tongue to drag themselves forward. Onibi Bombs also have the unique habit of self-destruction when excited. The emotion does not seem to change the effect. If the emotion is strong enough, the Onibi Bomb will explode, spreading chunks of itself and hot oil around. The head always remains unharmed in these events and will start pulling the pieces back together. At this point oil will leak through the cracks and harden fully repairing the Chthonian. Contrary to what one may think, this reconstruction process is quick, often taking less than a minute to fully complete. Occasionally they will lick humans with their tongue. This tongue is described as cold and slimy.
Threat: Onibi Bombs are not inherently hostile to humans. The greatest threat to a human is the self-destruction habit they have. Otherwise, they function similar to slow foxes.
