Alternate Name: The Hanged Man
Description: Coopers are translucent Chthonian that are filled with the same juices found in Twilight Fruit. They hang upside down from trees with a gigantic floating eye close by. They have four tentacles and a tail that they use to hang onto trees. They have 4 eye slits which are not as reliable as the gigantic eye and function more to detect motion than see what is in front of them. The name Cooper comes from its slight resemblance to the Cooper Family Ghost.
Behavior: Cooper will hang from trees and fold their bodies to mimic the fruits of the Twilight Tree. They will send their floating eye out to search for food. If any food is noticed, Cooper will extend into its full form and swing across the branches to get to where the giant eye is witnessing. Should the eye be damaged or destroyed, Cooper will produce another eye to replace it although this takes a considerable amount of time. Cooper are acrobatic and easily able to traverse the wooded areas of Vallice making them a threat to explorers.
Threat: Cooper are one of the many hostile Chthonians found in Vallice. They will attack explorers on site most often attempting to cause physical trauma with their tentacles or ripping them apart. If an explorer sees a floating eye they should attack it immediately. If the eye is destroyed the Cooper will not appear.
